U16 Boys Singles – R/U Blake Kebblewhite – Winner Aaron Westerlund

The U16 Tweed Open Junior Boys was won by Aaron Westerlund in a Round Robin format.
Aaron who tied with Blake Kebblewhite was declared the winner as Aaron had defeated Blake in their head to head match.
For full scores & report visit Tournaments page.

The Australian Money Tournament was cancelled due to the inclement weather.
This event may be re scheduled for 2012 after consultation with Tennis NSW.
This maybe fortuitous as the entries were disappointing in the peak holiday period and a weekend in the dryer winter climate may attract more players.

Success at Medibank State Finals

Aaron Westerlund – NSW State Under 14 champion
Congratulations to Aaron!

Aaron won the U14’s final at the Medibank Junior Development Series State Final held last weekend at Gosford.
This is a great credit to Aaron & his supportive family and of course also a great credit to our Terranora coach Grant Silcock.
Of particular note is that Aaron broke his left arm a few months ago – and has been playing with a restricted backhand for a while.
The stats for Aaron’s great performance at Gosford are included below.
